Engineering Co., Ltd. established.
"April 1960" - Opened representative office at Miyazaki
Airport and commenced maintenance work on
training aircraft
for the Civil Aviation College of the Ministry of Transport.
"June 1963" - Granted qualification as an authorized
repair/modification workplace by the Civil
Aviation Bureau,
Ministry of Transport.
"July 1966" - Obtained type certificate from the Ministry
of Transport for the Itochu type N-62
airplane (obtained type certificate from U.S. Federal Aviation
Agency in Sep.66).
"March 1970" - Transferred portion of shares held by C.Itoh
Corporation to Japan Airlines (JAL)
and All Nippon Airways (ANA) to became a three party corporation.
"June 1970" - Changed corporate name to New Japan Aircraft
Maintenance Co., Ltd.
"August 1970" - Order from All Nippon Airways galleys and
inserts for Boeing 727-200s and 737s.
"October 1978" - Established Tachikawa Plant to expand
galley manufacturing operations.
"November 1979" - First order from Boeing for 767 lavatory
modules.
"January 1982" - Established JAMCO America Inc., a US
corporation based in Seattle, Washington.
"February 1988" - Established Singapore JAMCO Pte.Ltd.
together with Singapore Airlines and C.Itoh.
"June 1988" - Changed corporate name to JAMCO Corporation.
"April 1989" - Established Niigata JAMCO Corporation.
"March 1990" - Established Miyazaki JAMCO Corporation.
"September 1991" - Established JAMCO Netherland B.V.
"January 1992" - Established Tokushima JAMCO Corporation.
